Pulp, paper & packaging
Support the liquid-handling steps around paper and converting lines.
Paper and packaging operations involve a wide range of supporting liquids: starch-based adhesive, printing ink, coating fluids and wash water. These services should be identified separately from bulk pulp transport, where fiber content and consistency may require a different type of pumping system.
Typical media
- Starch & dextrin adhesives
- Printing inks
- Coating fluids
Process duties
- Supply coating, printing and gluing stations
- Transfer process or cleaning liquids between vessels
What to check
Describe solids or fiber content, viscosity and the tendency to dry or deposit inside the system. Check temperature, flushing compatibility and the downstream equipment’s delivery requirements. Define any recirculation or intermittent-use conditions that may affect material consistency.
Tell us the production step, fluid consistency and how the line is cleaned.
