Adhesives & sealants
Let viscosity and curing behavior guide the technology choice.
A pumpable liquid adhesive and a heavy sealant present very different transfer problems. Describe whether the material flows freely into the inlet, needs a follower plate or requires controlled dispensing. Some high-viscosity extrusion and dispensing duties call for a piston or ram system rather than a diaphragm transfer pump.
Typical media
- Pumpable adhesives
- Resin mixtures
- Process cleaning fluids
Process duties
- Transfer suitable liquid adhesive batches
- Supply a downstream process or preparation vessel
What to check
Provide viscosity at working temperature, curing mechanism, pot life and any moisture sensitivity. Review inlet loading, shear requirements and the allowable residence time. Confirm cleaning compatibility and delivery pressure before narrowing the equipment options.
Send the viscosity, curing behavior, container type and transfer or dispensing requirement.
