The easily missed component
Replacing the flexible components of a fluid section does not automatically replace its valve seats. ARO distinguishes standard fluid-section repair kits from enhanced kits that include seats. This distinction matters when a maintenance plan requires both the moving check element and its mating seat to be renewed.
Read the kit boundary
ARO’s published standard fluid-kit description includes diaphragms, check elements, manifold and connecting-rod seals, with supporting service items. It states that damaged check-ball seats must be purchased separately. The manufacturer also offers seat-inclusive fluid kits. Exact contents still depend on the selected kit.
An air-section service kit is a different package. ARO describes different service scope for EXP and PRO air sections; an EXP description should not be used as a contents list for a PRO kit.

Use the published example without turning it into a universal rule
ARO gives PD10A-BAP-AAA with 637401-AAA as an example of a fluid kit with seats. This is a documented pairing example, not a recommendation for every PD10 pump. It illustrates why the complete configuration suffix matters.
For another configuration, use its parts list or the manufacturer’s kit lookup. Do not derive a kit number by copying a suffix into an unrelated kit family.
Build a scope-complete maintenance order
Use three lines in the work package: the chosen kit, components explicitly excluded from that kit, and components retained after inspection. This exposes omissions before equipment is opened.
For example, if seats are on the replacement list, a standard fluid kit alone is an incomplete scope unless compatible seats are separately included. Conversely, do not automatically add individual seats to a seat-inclusive kit. Count the components from the confirmed contents list to avoid buying the same items twice.
